SUMMARY:69/96: The Final Descent
LOCATION:Basement\, Enghavevej 42\, 1674 København V
DESCRIPTION:Copenhagen Pride’s anniversary year is drawing to a close\, but they’re not taking it easy just yet.\nOn 24 October\, Copenhagen Pride invites you to the final and darkest part of this year’s 30th-anniversary celebrations\, as they return to the Basement for an underground queer pre-Halloween party.\n\nFor in 1969\, the patrons of the Stonewall Inn rose up in revolt. In 1996\, Copenhagen Pride’s first official parade wound its way through the streets of Copenhagen. And by 2026\, we will have celebrated the freedom\, the community\, the desire and the struggles that have brought us this far.\n\nThe Final Descent will be a night of drag\, decadence\, the underground\, DJs and everything that shouldn’t see the light of day.\n\nSee you in the dark.\n\nLINE-UP\nBazooka (CPH)\nBazooka is a Copenhagen-based drag performance artist and DJ. Expect a fun\, mysterious\, cheeky and fiery energy. The dance floor will be brimming with NASTINESS as we bounce through house\, techno and trance hits. Bazooka began their drag journey in Athens in 2016 and added DJ to their CV in 2022. Since then\, they have worked on both large-scale productions and smaller gigs\, taking a ritualistic approach to their work\, treating everything as a ritual. With a love of dramatic expression\, the femme fatale\, and a drive to promote queer culture and sexual liberation.\n\nMore acts to be announced\n\nTranslated with DeepL.com (free version)\\n\\nhttps://electroniccph.com/events/69-96-the-final-descent-e-acb012b3
