Bolsjefabrikken is a self-run, non-commercial culture house in Østerbro, housed in a former candy factory and operated as a collectively run free space rather than a conventional business. Its programme covers underground concerts, electronic parties, workshops and community events, reflecting its roots as a volunteer-organised space rather than a promoter-driven club. Electronic nights sit alongside a wider mix of cultural and political programming, and pricing and access are generally kept low and community-oriented in line with the venue's non-commercial ethos. Bolsjefabrikken represents one of Copenhagen's more explicitly DIY, artist-run spaces that still regularly hosts electronic music.
